He has been featured on A Current Affair, in the Sydney Morning Herald, the Australian Newspaper, the Daily Telegraph, and on a number of major Sydney radio programs for the quality results he has achieved, and more recently as a commentator on Generation Y.
Peter began his career in a large international accounting firm, only to find out very quickly that accounting was not for him. Much to the surprise of his friends and family he left his corporate post to clean toilets in a Pub. Within 18 months Peter was the General Manager of a multi million dollar Sydney Hotel, with over 30 staff.
Peter has consulted to a number of companies and organisations since the establishment of his own company, including corporate giants such as Panasonic, The Commonwealth Bank and Woolworths Limited, as well as divisions of the Government such as the Department of Education, Science and Training, the NSW Department of Education and Training and the Queensland Department of Premier and Cabinet. He is passionately committed to helping develop the skills and talents of the next generation of Australian business leaders, known as Generation Y, and to helping businesses better attract, develop and engage this generation.
Peter’s business success resulted in him being named MBN NSW Young Entrepreneur of the Year and MBN Australian Emerging Business of the Year in their 2003 awards. He was also nominated by Ernst & Young as Australian Young Entrepreneur of the Year in their international awards program.
Having been told he was too young to be successful in this market place, Peter was even more determined to make a difference. He turned his age into his ally. His ability to relate to Generation Y and his knowledge of their behavioural patterns is unparalleled. He has already delivered over 1,500 presentations and is considered one of Australia’s foremost presenters. In 2002 Peter was awarded the designation of Accredited Professional Speaker by the National Speakers Association of Australia. This is his 2nd highest level of accreditation and Peter is the youngest person to ever be given the designation.
Peter is also the author of the best selling book Mastering the HSC, which is now in three different versions sold around Australia. His fourth commercially published book will be released in late 2004 and is a business book designed to help HR and Line Management to attract, manage and retain Generation Y. Peter has 2 DVD learning programs ‘Get Motivated’ and ‘Stress and Time Management’.
